Remember to bring light clothing, but also a jacket for the evening. Once there, the best way to get around the Medina is on foot – sturdy shoes are a must. For longer distances, use the cheap petits taxis (yellow cars). A tip: exchange money in the Ville Nouvelle, not in the Medina – the rates are better there. Drink only bottled water and be careful with ice cubes. If you travel with light luggage, you can haggle better in the souks.
