Best Time to Travel & Practical Tips

February is an ideal time to travel to Abu Dhabi: daytime temperatures are a pleasant 24 to 27 degrees Celsius, and at night it cools down to around 15 degrees. Rain is rare. So you can spend most of your time outdoors.

For getting around the city, we recommend a taxi or the modern metro. A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs around €20 to €30. If you’re out and about a lot, the Hafilat card for public buses is worthwhile. Money-saving tip: many attractions such as the Corniche or the Heritage Village are free. Entry to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque is free, but women need an abaya, which can be borrowed on site.

You can also save on food: small local restaurants offer inexpensive menus. Avoid alcohol in public – drink it only in licensed hotels or bars.

The 4-star hotel is located in the Al Zahiyah district (Tourist Club Area) and is therefore centrally located. Restaurants, supermarkets and shops are within walking distance.
