Marrakech Flight and Hotel: 8 Days in the Maghreb for €447

marrakech flight and hotel

If you want to escape the cold in February, our Marrakech flight and hotel package is one of the cheapest ways to get to the south: a direct flight from Frankfurt and eight nights in a 4-star hotel for €447 per person. In late winter, the red city of gardens, souks and palaces is mild, relaxed and far quieter than in spring.

🛂 Visa: Not required for German nationals (tourist stay).

Why Marrakech now?

Marrakech is a city of contrasts: in the medina you weave through the alleys of the souks, past spice traders, dyers and coppersmiths, until you suddenly find yourself on the bustling Djemaa el-Fna square, where in the evening jugglers, singers and grill stands set the scene. Just a few minutes’ walk away are the Koutoubia Mosque with its striking minaret and the Bahia and El Badi palaces. You’ll find peaceful counterpoints in the Jardin Majorelle with its steel-blue house and in the Ménara Garden with its reflecting pool.

The trip is also worth it for the food: be sure to try a tagine with vegetables or lamb, harira as a warming lentil soup, and fresh msemen pancakes for breakfast. In the alleys of the medina they are often particularly cheap, as is freshly squeezed orange juice at the stands on Djemaa el-Fna.

Your Marrakech flight and hotel in detail

The deal is clearly priced: you fly nonstop from Frankfurt to Marrakech and back – no stops, no transfers. The travel dates are 20 to 28 February 2027, so eight full days in Morocco. The ticket price is €159 per person for the return flight.

On top of that come eight nights at the Hotel Atlas Al-Massira in the Hivernage district. The 4-star hotel charges €72 per night for a double room with breakfast. If you share the room with a companion, you pay only half each – giving a total price of €447 per person including flight and accommodation. A well-rounded Marrakech flight and hotel package for anyone who wants to soak up the sun in winter while experiencing the city in depth.

Best time to travel & practical tips

Late February is a good choice: during the day you’ll often get pleasant 18 to 22 °C in Marrakech, but at night it can cool down to as low as 8 °C. So pack a light jacket and a sweater. Rain is possible but rare – most days stay dry and sunny, ideal for city walks and trips to the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.

Getting around locally is best done with petit taxis and on foot through the medina; for longer distances such as to the Ménara or the train station, a taxi is worth it. A small money-saving tip: don’t change money at the airport, but at a bank or a reputable exchange office in the city, and buy water and snacks at the supermarket rather than at tourist spots. Haggle at the markets in a friendly but firm way – and don’t accept the first price.

The Hotel Atlas Al-Massira

The 4-star Hotel Atlas Al-Massira is located in the Hivernage district, a quieter and more modern part of the city with wide streets, cafés and restaurants. From there you can reach the medina and Djemaa el-Fna in just a few minutes by car. Breakfast is included in the room rate, so you can start the day well fortified. A straightforward base for your Marrakech flight and hotel stay that offers you peace and quiet after a long day of sightseeing.
