Casablanca Flight and Hotel: Discover Morocco’s Metropolis at a Fixed Price

Casablanca is more than a film classic – Morocco’s largest city combines French colonial architecture with Arab lifestyle and a rugged Atlantic coast. With our current Casablanca flight and hotel package, you’ll travel from March 3 to 8, 2027 for a total of €405 per person – round-trip flight included. Five days to get to know a city that has its very own rhythm between the art scene, the medina and the ocean breeze.
🛂 Visa: Not required for German nationals (tourist stay).
Why Casablanca now?
Casablanca is not a postcard backdrop but a real major city with over three million inhabitants. That’s exactly what makes it so appealing. A few places you should definitely plan into your trip:
- Hassan II Mosque – the city’s most striking building, located right on the Atlantic. Its 210-meter-high minaret can be seen from almost anywhere in the city, and guided tours are available for non-Muslims.
- Old Town Medina – winding alleyways around Place des Nations Unies, ideal for a first orientation stroll.
- Quartier Habous – the “new medina” from the 1930s, with covered market alleys, bakeries and craft shops.
- Corniche – the waterfront promenade with views of the Atlantic, ideal for a late-afternoon walk.
- Art Deco district Centre-ville – around Boulevard Hassan II and the old town hall you’ll find buildings from the French protectorate era.
Culinary-wise, you should embrace classic Moroccan cuisine: tajine, couscous and harira soup can be found on many corners in the medina and in Quartier Habous. Fresh fish from the Atlantic coast also belongs on the list in Casablanca.
Casablanca Flight and Hotel: the Prices at a Glance
The offer is deliberately simple – one direct price, no guesswork:
- Flight: Berlin ↔ Casablanca, round trip, €192 per person (1 stop)
- Travel dates: March 3 to 8, 2027 (5 days)
- Hotel: 5 nights at Hotel Diwan Casablanca, double room for €85 per night including breakfast
- Total price: €405 per person (flight plus half a double room)
So if you’re traveling with two people, you’ll pay €405 per person for the complete Casablanca flight and hotel component – breakfast and five nights already included. Conversely: solo travelers should budget accordingly for the double room.
Best Time to Travel & Practical Tips
March is a good choice for Casablanca: daytime temperatures are usually between 17 and 21 degrees, dropping to around 10 degrees at night. Rain is possible in spring, so you should plan for a few showers – but the city is then much quieter than in midsummer, when it gets muggy with over 25 degrees and high humidity. A light jacket for the evening and comfortable shoes for the medina’s cobblestones are a must.
Around town, the cheapest way to get around is by petit taxis (the small red taxis) and the Tramway tram. For longer distances, using ride-hailing services is worthwhile. A real money-saving tip: don’t exchange money at the airport but at official exchange offices in the city center, and it’s better not to drink tap water – bottled water from the supermarket costs only a few dirhams. Many museums and the Hassan II Mosque charge admission, so plan a small budget for that.
Hotel Diwan Casablanca at a Glance
Hotel Diwan Casablanca is a 4-star hotel in the Centre-ville district on Boulevard Hassan II – right in the city center and therefore a good starting point for city walks. Breakfast is already included in the package, which makes a noticeable difference over five nights. The central location also means: you’re close to Art Deco architecture, cafés and the bustling city center – ideal for anyone who wants to explore Casablanca on foot.
Casablanca in 5 Days
A realistic short itinerary for your five days on site:
- Day 1 – Arrival and orientation: After arriving at the hotel, check in, then take a first walk through the Centre-ville around Boulevard Hassan II.
- Day 2 – Medina and old town: Stroll through the medina in the morning, try tajine at one of the small restaurants at midday, explore Place des Nations Unies in the afternoon.
- Day 3 – Hassan II Mosque: The morning is a good time for the mosque visit; afterwards, walk along the Corniche to the El Hank lighthouse.
- Day 4 – Quartier Habous and markets: Discover craft shops, spice stalls and bakeries in Quartier Habous, then spend the afternoon at a café and exploring the city’s art scene.
- Day 5 – Free time and return journey: One last stroll through the city center, pick up souvenirs, then head to the airport in good time.
