Best time to travel & practical tips

In March, Malaga is already pleasantly mild, with a spring-like feel. Daytime temperatures are a pleasant 20 °C, while at night it cools to around 10 °C. Rain is rare but possible in isolated cases. The sun shines often, ideal for sightseeing and walks on the beach. From the airport to the city centre, you can conveniently take the Cercanías train (line C1) or the bus. Once there, a stroll through the old town is worthwhile; for longer distances you can use the EMT buses. A tip: many museums are free on Sunday afternoons, including the Picasso Museum.
