Rain is rare, but a few showers are possible. On site, the best way to get around is by Petit Taxi or on foot; the Medina is car-free. For excursions to the surrounding area (e.g., Atlas Mountains), you can use cheap buses or shared taxis. A money-saving tip: Don’t exchange money at the airport, but in the city – the rates are better there. Always haggle in the souk in a friendly but firm manner; a smile opens doors. For attractions such as the Jardin Majorelle, it is worth booking tickets online in advance to avoid queues.
